I'd wanted to do a Whimsical Woodland Bridal shoot for a while now. I shared my ideas with Stephanie Kate Bridal Couture, who had a colection of dresses that would fit perfectly with the theme. We started to put together a team to help us bring my vision to life.
I was really excited to do this shoot as I was working with a few new people whose work I really admired. We put together the perfect team and Hazel was kind enough to let us use Hirst Priory for the location and to also do hair and makeup on our three models.
Everyone worked super hard to put together this shoot, especially Julie of Bridge St Interiors. I met with Julie a few weeks before to talk over ideas and show her my mood board for the shoot. We clicked straight away and she knew exactly what was needed to style our shoot.
Stephanie had also met Tracey of Silver Boo Handmade Jewellery the weekend before and asked if she could adorn our models with her beautiful handmade pieces. We had a huge selection of jewellery to use in silver, gold and rose gold. Her work is just beautiful!
I also asked Stephanie of Little Yellow House Flower Shop if she could put together some floral decorations and make us two bouquets for the shoot. I have seen Stephanie's work before when she has done the flowers for some of my Brides. She did a fab job with the colours and creativity of her flower decorations.
We had a great day on this shoot, and even though it was only March, the weather was warm and stayed beautiful for us all day. We shot 6 dresses, on 3 models and had loads of fun shooting in this beautiful woodland area which is now available to use for your outdoor Wedding ceremony. We also did some of our shoot inside the wonderful Hirst Priory, the perfect blank canvas for any style of Wedding.
