With years of experience working with horses, I understand their subtle language and the unique rhythm they bring to every session.

  • That’s completely normal — and totally okay. I work calmly and patiently, allowing time for your horse to settle and get used to the camera. We go at their pace, and I have plenty of tricks (and treats) to help things go smoothly.

  • Absolutely — the connection between you and your horse is the heart of what I capture. You’ll be gently guided into natural, emotive poses that feel relaxed, not staged.

  • Yes! I offer a yard session discount when two or more riders book sessions at the same location on the same day. It’s perfect for barn besties or riding club groups and includes individual sessions for each person, with optional group photos too.

  • You’ll receive a full styling guide when you book, with tips on what photographs beautifully and complements your horse. Think soft, neutral tones, timeless textures, and outfits that feel like you — comfortable, flattering, and practical.

  • I'm based in Carlton near Goole and travel across Yorkshire and Lincolnshire. The first 30 miles are included, and a small travel fee applies beyond that. I’ll confirm exact costs when you enquire or book.

  • Yes, you can include more than one horse! Just let me know in advance so we can plan the time and flow of the session accordingly.

  • If it’s pouring down or unsafe to shoot, we’ll reschedule at no extra cost. I keep an eye on the forecast and will check in with you the day before if anything looks questionable.

  • You’ll receive a sneak peek within a few days of your session, and your full gallery will be ready within 4 - 5 weeks. I’ll send everything via a private online gallery so you can view, download, and order prints easily.

  • No — but I highly recommend it. I work with professional UK-based labs to produce heirloom-quality prints, albums, and wall art that truly do your images justice. You’ll have access to exclusive products in your gallery store.

  • To secure your session, I require a signed contract and a booking fee. Once that’s received, your date is locked in. The rest is due just before your shoot — and I’m always on hand to help with planning, prep, and questions.
