I was born in Lincoln, England. I was too young to remember living in this medieval city, my parents moved with me when I was only one, to the North of Lincolnshire and a small village called Broughton.
I first picked up a basic digital camera when I was around fourteen and took it everywhere with me. When I reached college, I learnt to use an SLR with black and white film, it was so exciting processing and editing my photos in the darkroom.
With the rise of digital photography I bought my first DSLR soon after and began taking photos for my friends. With thanks to the rise of social media, I could share my work with more people and I was soon getting asked to do Fashion & Portrait shoots on a regular basis.
I also began shooting Weddings. To begin with, I started out assisting as a second shooter, then started getting work of my own as my experience grew. I now valuable years of experience in shooting Weddings and I particularly love anything alternative to your traditional Wedding day.
I have always loved taking photos of people. There’s something so fulfilling about getting to know someone and capture their unique character and personality in an image.
I have always been captivated and inspired by Fashion Photographers and love to bring an element of Fashion into my portrait work, whether that is with lighting, posing or styling.
Currently, I still live in North Lincolnshire with my fianceé and my dog. I have a photography studio in the market town of Brigg, but I love to travel for assignments, up and down the UK.
