I remember Tamsin getting in touch to meet about their Wedding photography and when she told me the name of her husband to be, I realised I already knew Tom. He used to be good friends with my younger brother, and it must’ve been over 15 years since I last saw him! He’d not changed a bit since then, maybe a little taller. We had a great chat about their Wedding plans, and I was super excited when they asked me to be their Wedding photographer.
I absolutely loved the Cherry Blossom tree’s that lined the aisle, the perfect touch for a Spring Wedding! Tamsin looked stunning in her Joanna Leigh Gown and her hair and makeup was fabulously done by Rachel Day.
We can never be too careful where the weather is concerned in this country and had a back-up plan for group photos. It rained, hard. So, we decided to do photos inside first, the staff were brilliant at clearing a space for us before turning the room around. Despite the wet & windy weather we eventually found a break in the worst of it to capture some photos in the courtyard and by the Church across the road.
It was only a short day, and we left Tamsin & Tom as they were seated for their Wedding breakfast. I think you’ll agree their flowers and decorations by Fairytales in Grimsby and very tasty looking cake by Kee Kees Cakes looked amazing!
It was a beautiful day to photograph and I loved that Tamsin was determined to brave the gale force winds to get the photos we had discussed outside. It’s been lovely getting to know Tamsin and to see Tom again after so many years all grown up!
Now we’re on to designing the Wedding Album and I’m loving putting it together for them!
