A home photoshoot
BRIGG EQUESTRIAN & PET PHOTOGRAPHER / NORTH LINCOLNSHIRE
Back in February, Grace got in touch with me to come to her home and take some photos of her 9-week-old Border Collie Winnie and her Horse Roy. The weather was changeable and we almost rescheduled as it had been forecast to rain that morning.
It was windy that morning and as I asked Grace to lead Roy to the other end of the field and then release him, you could see he was itching to go. I stood near the gate at the entrance and Roy had a fab time galloping back and forth between us, showing off his stride and beautiful glossy coat.
Once we had loads of different action and more relaxed shots of Roy, Grace brought Winnie out and what a cutie! She was what you would expect from a puppy, excitable and curious and we had loads of fun letting her run around to explore and play. We also managed to get some shots of Roy & Winnie together, little, and large. Roy was super gentle and kept bending his head down to her level. Winnie was a little unsure of Roy at first and would dart back under the fence with a few puppy barks. Curiosity soon go the better of her though and we managed to get some cute, gentle photos of the two of them together.
I specialise in portrait photography, but I also love to capture portraits of pets and horses, especially dogs. For dogs, or in this case puppies, I can either come to you or we go for a scenic walk or you’re welcome to bring your pets to my studio. Obviously, I’m unable to have a horse in my studio, but I travel to your yard or where you have your horse and capture them in a natural environment. The old saying goes ‘never work with animals…’, but some of my most exciting and rewarding shoots have been with our furry friends.
Drop me a message to find out more information of how I work with you and your animals to capture those everlasting memories and what packages I have on offer.
